Jacky Cheung World Tour 2007 - Singapore 13/07/2007

WOAHHHHHH!
Finally! I finally hear Jacky sing live!

His voice is Awesome..... Althought some cantonese songs i can't really sing along. But still shiok.
But some old classics i do know how to sing wor -> 每天爱你多一些 & 只想一生跟你走.

He incorporated a short Musical as well ( Mixed of both 雪狼湖 and 如果爱 ) .

The sad thing is that he did not sing 1 of my favourite song...too bad..

But never the less..it was still a wonderful night.

I went for a Jog last evening and follow up with sit ups and push ups.
I need the exercise to control my expanding waist line.

But alas...ate 4 x delicious dark chocolate cookies made by Diana last night...
Hope my exercise is enough to offset the fat i would gain from the cookies.

Songs = Me

Blog for the lost year

It's been awhile since my last blog.... almost a year...

The 12 months in a glance
Family
My beloved brother, Wei Peng passed away in Feb 22 2007.
It was a huge blow to us....it still is i guess..thou we brothers did not mention it...but we do miss him.

Nothing much change on my father side..except he got admitted to hospital twice for minor surgery. It happened somewhere in April May period.
As usual, he used money like tissues.....Sigh

Work
Ups and downs...changed of boss... a lady one. Nice boss she is...
I am handling Cambodia now on top of the local accounts.
Guess in a way it is looking up for me in this aspect.
Going back to Cambodia next week. Bz bz again.

Health
Sleep is a problem...as usual... Knees acting up once a while.
Played street soccer last week...woah... i am old... so tired..lol
Really need to make an effort to start jogging.

Travel
Been to Cambodia to see the ancient AngKor Wat and learned about the Khmer Rouge.
And in yr 2007 May, i made my 2nd trip to HongKong.

Concerts
Managed to attend a few concerts over this period, Liang Jing Ru, Mayday, Sun Yan Zi, Emil Chou. Looking forward the next month Jacky Cheung. Cheers!

Sports
Arsenal ended the season empty handed and lost Henry to Barca post season.
Sigh. Hope next season will be a better year for Arsenal. Good Luck to Henry!

Affairs of the heart
All i can say is this
Life is never exactly black and white. Find that perfect shade of grey and try to live happily.

Tired... slpy now.

England needs Carrick

Watched last night World Cup Match.
England should play Carrick.
They need someone to distribute the ball to Gerrard and Lampard.
One dimensional approach from England again, luckily Downing and Lennon gave England more width during 2nd half. As Joe Cole was cutting too much into the already crowded center mid area. Poor Owen, deprive of any services.

Hope England improve in the next match.

Life?

Life can be an emotional rollercoaster.
Maybe for my life it is. Not sure about yours.
Anyway, learning to cope and adapt is a process i go thru everyday.

To keep oneself sane and happy in this world.
I need to relax and learn to let go.

World Cup 2006 is here. Time to enjoy.

Today's Thought

Have a better sleep last night, thanks to the pills.
It is still a tired day. Rushing for sales to hit quota. Months' end, same old routine.

Morale still down, learning to cope.

Having class tonight, start of a new module, a few weeks of slogging to go.
Group project to rush, but have 2 new members, wonder what kind of personality they have.

Going for a haircut later, hope it will my mood will improve.
Come on! Cheer up! Be Stronger! I can be happy if i want to!

Long weekend ahead, 3 days, what should i do?

The Beginning 1

I was born in 1976 June 30 into a simple family.
There are 6 of us, dad, mum, me and my 3 bros.
I don't really remember much of my childhood from 1 till 9 years old.
Pieces of memory remains; going to Toa Payoh garden and watching Shaolin Temple movie with brothers and parents, hurting a mynah bird with a catapult that I regretted immediately.

Memory of my life from 10 years old onwards is much clearer. I was placed into a Children Home (Children’s Aid Society) with my second youngest brother for reason that we were unaware of until we were older. Elder brother joined us a year after. it was a good home then, it is still now.

We were assigned to dormitory, duties were given and daily timetable must be abided to.
I never knew Christmas was so much fun before; Caregivers from different associations pampered us with gifts and applauded us for our dances and performances.
We got to dance, sing and received presents with a great meal to go with. I have never forgotten how much fun it was then.

My favorite place was the library; because I could escaped into the worlds in the books.
And I really like the singing session too, students from Ngee Ann Poly would always come over for sing along sessions. I learnt the song Forever Young from these sessions.

It was fun in the children home, but I missed our own home. Every day after class, my classmates went home with dad or mum, but I went back to the children home by the Home Van. I could only look upon with envy.

We did not get to go home much; Dad brought us home only whenever he was in town and Mum needs to take care of our youngest brother. Those days, we really wanted to go home, if not we hoped and prayed that at least someone would visit us during the weekend.

The children home is usually quiet as most children will return home.

My dad sisters and grandma visited us frequently when ever they are free even though we were not close to them. At their age, it was hard for them as they had to walk up a steep slope leading to the home. Their care and love is something that I can never forget.

We finally left the home 3 years later in Year 1989.
